Kipos Greek Taverna Feast Details
On Monday, November 25, we will offer an evening pre-Thanksgiving feast at Kipos Greek Taverna in Chapel Hill. Kipos was opened earlier this year by Parizade founder and owner Giorgios Bakatsias. He brought his sister and childhood friend from Greece to be chefs inspired by childhood Greek meals of simple but flavorful locally grown seasonal ingredients.
Giorgios wants to do something different than a buffet for our Kipos seating, and is thinking of bringing single plates of food to each table at a time so that dishes can be savored and relished separately, before additional plates come one after the other. Our Thanksgiving menu is usually mostly gluten- and soy- free, and the Kipos menu is also mostly soy- and gluten- free.

Like last year, we will be having a small raffle at our pre-Thanksgiving feast. The raffle will begin around 8:00 pm.
We will again sell raffle tickets with reservations. You will be able to pay for your raffle tickets when you make your reservation, and get your physical tickets at the event. We'll also sell tickets on the day of the event (cash only).
